■What is Shiokaze Rider House?

Shiokaze Rider House is a unique accommodation where our top priority is for everyone to enjoy Shikoku together. 

To truly enjoy your time here, we highly value mutual understanding and cooperation among our guests and the local community. 

Please note that we do not offer extensive hospitality services like a traditional hotel. 

This accommodation is designed for those who enjoy a communal experience. 

You will sleep in a shared room (separated by gender when possible) with other guests, and spend most of your free time interacting in the common lounge. 

Due to the unique nature of our facility, we are unable to accept infants and toddlers. 

The on-site manager (my mother) only speaks Japanese, but we warmly welcome you! We will use translation apps to communicate.

■About Consecutive Nights 

Under the Private Lodging Act, we are limited to operating 180 days a year. 

Therefore, consecutive stays are limited to a maximum of 3 nights per person. 

Among the many rider houses, ours has its own specific rules.

■Notes on Visiting: Please Make a Reservation in Advance

Guests without a prior reservation may not be able to stay. 

We kindly ask for your cooperation in preventing noise and nuisance to our neighbors. 

We have a parking lot for motorcycles and bicycles. 

If you are coming by car, please let us know when making your reservation. 

■If You Are Unsure of the Location, Please Call Us Immediately

Our inn is located in a slightly secluded residential area. 

To prevent noise and ensure safety, please do not ride around the neighborhood searching for us. 

Please find a nearby landmark, stop your vehicle safely, and call us. 

■Regarding the Common Room and Sleeping Area 

Sleeping is our priority. 

Please refrain from talking in the common room after 11:59 PM. 

Eating and drinking are allowed in the common room. 

You may use your mobile phones, smartphones, and computers. 

Please manage your valuables at your own risk to prevent theft. 

You may use alarms, but please turn them off immediately. 

When using apps or watching videos, please use earphones or keep the volume low, and refrain from using snooze functions. 

If you are sensitive to noise, we recommend bringing earplugs. 

Since this is a shared room accommodation, everyday noises (entering/exiting, snoring, etc.) are unavoidable. 

However, if your snoring is excessively loud and disturbs others, we may have to ask you to leave. 

■Strict Drinking Etiquette 

Any nuisance caused by alcohol consumption will be strictly addressed. 

In such cases, we may confiscate alcohol and prohibit further drinking. 

Forcing others to drink or encouraging binge drinking is strictly prohibited. 

If vomiting or damage occurs due to excessive drinking, a cleaning fee will be charged. 

Drinking and driving is strictly prohibited. 

Please be especially careful if you plan to depart early the next morning. 

■Meals and Bathing  

We do not provide meals or have large bathing facilities. 

For meals, please use nearby supermarkets, convenience stores, or restaurants. 

You are welcome to bring food into the accommodation. 

You may also cook your own meals in the kitchen. 

owever, please be considerate of others and avoid monopolizing the shared kitchen. 

Only showers are available at our facility. 

■Completely Non-Smoking Indoors 

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the building. 

We have a designated smoking area outside. 

To prevent fires, the outdoor smoking area cannot be used after lights out. 

■Lights Out at Midnight (12:00 AM) 

At midnight, the main lights in the common room will be turned off. 

After lights out, the common room is for sleeping only. 

Regardless of noise or activity, the kitchen cannot be used after this time. 

The kitchen will be available again from 6:00 AM the next day. 

Please be quiet when using the facilities early in the morning to avoid waking others. 

■Curfew is 11:00 PM 

For the comfort of guests who are sleeping, entering or leaving the accommodation after 11:00 PM is not permitted. 

If you arrive after this time, you may be refused entry. 

■Check-in / Check-out Time 

Check-in: 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM 

Check-out: 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM 

*If you need to depart before 8:00 AM, please let us know in advance.

■"Zero Noise" Initiative - Please Help Us Prevent Noise 

Our inn is located in a residential area with houses nearby. 

If you arrive by motorcycle, please turn off the engine immediately upon arrival. 

If you are lost, please contact us immediately instead of riding around. 

Even if unintentional, riding a motorcycle or driving a car around the neighborhood causes significant noise. 

Please refrain from idling your engine in or around the property, day or night. 

If you need to warm up your motorcycle, please do so while riding slowly (rolling warm-up). 

To prevent noise, starting engines near the property is prohibited between 9:00 PM and 8:00 AM. 

If you must leave between 9:00 PM and 8:00 AM, please push your motorcycle to the designated location (about 15-20 meters away) before starting the engine. 

■Safe Driving and Appropriate Vehicles 

Please drive slowly on the surrounding roads. 

Driving at low speeds helps reduce noise and prevents accidents. 

Please give priority to local residents' vehicles. 

The use of illegally modified vehicles (cars, motorcycles, or bicycles) is strictly prohibited. 

Any unruly behavior or excessive noise will result in immediate eviction. 

The management reserves the right to make this decision, even if the actions are within legal limits. 

■Other Prohibited Acts 

Any behavior that disturbs public morals or order (e.g., abusive language, violence, intimidation, public undressing) is prohibited both inside and outside the facility. 

Violation of these rules will result in immediate eviction. 

In severe cases, we will contact the police. 

The area surrounding Shiokaze Rider House is private property owned by locals. 

Please do not park your car or motorcycle outside designated areas. 

Littering is strictly prohibited. 

Please help keep our community clean. 

Please ensure your vehicle does not leak oil or other fluids.
