I am a PhD student in Prof. Jihan Kim’s group in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST).
My research interests are in quantum computing-based nanomaterial design, with a particular focus on utilizing quantum algorithms (quantum machine learning and the Variational Quantum Eigensolver (VQE)) to design and optimize porous materials like Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) and Covalent Organic Frameworks (COFs). By integrating quantum computation with materials science, I aim to expand the boundaries of material discovery beyond the limits of classical approaches.
