"「と」-WITH- Relationship"

My artworks focus on expressing "relationships" by referencing the entanglement and connection of limbs. Drawing inspiration from ukiyo-e shunga, I visualize these "relationships". The intertwined limbs symbolize the complex network and patterns of "relationships" in our world. Through these elements, I explore the structure of my unique world.

The exhibition title, "「と」-WITH- Relationship," represents the concept of "relationships" inspired by the entwined nature of limbs. For example, the subtle presence of "「と」-WITH- Relationship" between "you" and "me". What I constantly observe is not individual existence, but the interconnected "「と」-WITH- Relationship" that binds us = relationships. This intersection and connection apply not only to human beings but also to every element and aspect of the world.

The artworks depict the ever-changing current state bound and transformed by "「と」-WITH- Relationship = Relationships". There is nothing that cannot be connected "「と」-WITH- Relationship", and without "「と」-WITH- Relationship", everything ceases to exist. I invite you to contemplate on the "relationships" hidden between everyday elements and aspects through this exhibition.

This exhibition showcases artworks that connect from the past, inspired by the limbs of shunga, to the present, and lead to the next drawing for the upcoming exhibition.
