I’m a graduate research assistant with Prof. Jong Shin in the Department of Community and Population Health, where I analyse Apple Watch data to examine the impact of environmental noise on sleep duration among university students. I have gained practical expertise with a suite of wearable technologies—including ActiWatch, Fitbit, GeneActiv, and Oura—used to monitor sleep and activity patterns. It’s sparked a deeper commitment to harnessing digital health and environmental insights for data-driven, personalised wellness solutions.
