I believe that a person who can capture the center well and maintain the center is a good leader. No matter what happens, I should be the center of attention in various places and try to keep the members from getting upset or confused.

---- Having been a trainee for more than 5 years, you must have gone through a lot of hardships. What words would you like to say to yourself when you were a trainee?

I want to say, "Whatever happens, you will make it through." It was really tough when I was a trainee. I grew up while solving problems one by one, made my debut. And I'm living a very happy life now, so I would like to say to myself at the time, "Hang in there!”

---- Please tell us which STAYC song you have the most affection for.

It's hard to choose, but I think it's "SO BAD". So far, I can't think of any other song that made me think "this song is good" as strongly as "SO BAD". I think it has something to do with the fact that it was our debut song, but it was really powerful, and I felt like my mood was rising from the bottom up.

---- What are your particulars about fashion and hair and makeup?

When I go out somewhere in my daily life, I usually go without makeup, and I am not the type of person who wear much makeup. On the other hand, I love jewelry. Especially earrings. When it comes to clothes, I tend to try different things. I like unique clothes, clothes that have a point, and I also like neat styles. To be honest, I like all things beautiful and cute.

---- Sieun, you have also worked as an actress. How does your acting experience help you in your music career?

I think being a singer and being an actress are completely different things. But if I were to find something useful somewhere, it might be the work of deepening my understanding of lyrics, or thinking about characters and images when expressing music on stage, and making an effort to convey the entire lyrics and songs in an easy way.

---- You have had a long career in the entertainment industry and have been exposed to the public eye since you were young. What kind of things do you keep in mind?

I have felt like I was losing myself. It's really, really important not to be like that. I want to eat food. [JP: Tabemono ga tabe taidesu.]

I want to go to a convenience store (laughs). [JP: Combini ni iki taidesu.]

---- When do you feel the happiest when you are active?

I feel happiest when I'm on stage in front of my fans.

---- Please tell us which STAYC song you have the most affection for.

I like "STEREOTYPE" the most. It's a song that the fans liked our voices, and the most people said that they felt energized after hearing my voice.

---- What are your particulars about fashion and hair and makeup?

While I like secondhand clothes, I also like beautiful and sophisticated clothes. My point is to wear it so that it looks neat. I always make my lips the focal point of my makeup.

---- Isa, you lead the group in terms of vocals, what do you keep in mind to improve your singing skills?

When there's a difficult STAYC song, I practice it again and again in order to make it perfect. I guess I’m the type of person like that.

---- You have a lot of responsibility as the lead vocalist, both in the studio and on stage, how do you relieve tension?

I relieve my nerves by believing in the members and fans and performing.

---- Please tell us which STAYC song you have the most affection for.

I really like "SO BAD", our debut song in Korea. I never get tired of listening to it, and every time I sing it, it always gives me a feeling that words cannot describe.

---- What are your particulars about fashion and hair and makeup?

I like very easy hair and makeup. As for fashion, I like cute things, and it's important that I don't get cold (laughs).

---- J, you are known for your low-pitched vocals. How do you hone those skills?

Rather than honing up my skills, I'm looking for and researching vocalization methods that I can comfortably sing. It is boring to just have a low voice, so the key is to find a voice that is a little different from others, something outstanding. Even if it is the same low tone, I hope it is a new low tone that has never been heard before.

---- As the youngest member along with Yoon, when do you feel the age difference with the older members?

For example, we have different songs that were popular or that we liked when we were kids. It is quite often the case that a song is absolutely popular in our generation, but our older sisters don't know it. On the other hand, I am often told by my older sisters, "Oh, you don't know this song?” That's when I feel it the most.

---- Please tell us which STAYC song you have the most affection for.

It's "POPPY". It's highly addictive, and the dance choreography is so cute that it makes me want to dance all the time.

---- What are your particulars about fashion and hair and makeup?

I like my hair with a fringe, I'm particular about straight, bare hair. That's my go-to. I've been told that I look a lot like the main character in Junji ITO's horror manga "Tomie”. So when I came to Japan, I made a conscious effort to look like her (laughs).

---- Along with J, you are the youngest in the group, and I think younger fans can easily to relate to you guys. How do you feel about being seen as a role model?

The group name STAYC stands for "Star To A Young Culture," which means "leading a young culture". We are targeting young fans, and my first priority is to become an artist who can be a role model for everyone to want to imitate.

---- If you were asked to give advice to someone aspiring to enter the music world, how would you respond?

I think that choosing this job is because I like it, so I want you to always remember that feeling. So I hope you will always remember that feeling. Also, there must be a lot of good people around you, so I hope that you can rely on them and grow together with them.
