I am glad that you have decided to find out more about Shiloh and that includes me, the current pastor, Tammy Greene.
I grew up in Greeneville and am the daughter of Jane and Brumley Greene. After receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration from East Tennessee State University, I began work in the banking industry, initially here at Greene County Bank and then moving to Knoxville to work for SunTrust Bank. After almost sixteen years in banking, I felt God calling me to another job/career path for my life – one that would make a difference in my life and the lives of others rather than just providing a paycheck.
Changing paths at age forty was not easy; however, God’s grace, and a lot of hard work and sleep-deprived study nights, allowed me to earn a Master of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky.
I was ordained by the Cumberland Presbyterian Church on November 28, 2004, and prior to serving Shiloh as their pastor, was blessed to serve as Associate Pastor of Talbott Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
My prayer for all people is that they find a church home where they fit, can feel the love of God, and can learn to serve Him by loving and serving others.
If you haven’t found a home yet, try Shiloh on for size – we may be just the fit for you!
