Welcome to Shikishima Ryokan

In April 2025, we celebrated the first anniversary of our renovation.

Shikishima Ryokan has been a favorite Shikoku 88 temple Henro Inn for three generations since my grandmother's generation.

We have renovated it as a guesthouse that welcomes people of all ages regardless of nationality, while retaining the traditional Japanese architectural design.

However, as a 70-year-old Japanese house, there are many areas that may cause inconvenience to our guests.

It would be our greatest pleasure if you could spend some time here, thinking about the building and the land that has been quietly watching over the pilgrims.

As a small pilgrim inn run by a single person, it is difficult for us to accommodate large groups, so we may be forced to decline some requests.
We would appreciate your understanding.

Not only for pilgrims, but also for cycling trips, women's trips, and homecoming trips.

We cherish "once in a lifetime encounters" and look forward to welcoming you to our hotel.

ようこそ 敷島旅館へ  

【2025年4月、リノベーションから1周年を迎えることができました。】

敷島旅館は祖母の代から3代にわたり、四国八十八ヶ所へんろ宿として親しまれてきました。

昔ながらの日本建築の意匠を残しながら、国籍を問わず幅広い年代の方々をお迎えできるゲストハウスとしてリノベーションしました。

しかしながら、築70年の古い日本家屋のためお客様にはご不便をおかけする部分も多数ございます。

この地で静かにお遍路さんを見守り続けてきた建物やこの土地に遥か想いを馳せて、過ごしていただければこの上ない喜びです。

ひとりで切り盛りしている小さな遍路宿で、大人数のお食事の対応は難しいためやむを得ずお断りする場合もございます。
何卒ご理解いただければ嬉しく思います。

お遍路さんだけでなく、サイクリング旅、女子旅、帰省などにご利用いただけます。

Breakfast

Breakfast is self-service, and you can choose from an onigiri (rice ball) set or a bread set for 300 yen.
A coffee server is available with a cup of free hot coffee at breakfast.

Guests booking through booking.com should inform us of their breakfast preference at check-in.A separate 300 yen fee will be charged locally.

Reservation Dinner

Dinner can be booked up to two days in advance for guests who wish to have dinner.

Omakase dinner with advance reservation is 1500 yen (menu is left to you).
Home-cooked meals prepared by the proprietress of Shikishima Ryokan using local ingredients are available.

If there are ingredients you cannot eat, please let us know at the time of reservation.

Dinner without Reservations

A simple dinner menu without reservation is available for 1000yen.
Only one omakase menu is available that day.

Local sake from local breweries is also available for you to try with your meal.

朝食 

朝食はセルフサービスで300円でおにぎりセット、パンセットから選べます。
コーヒーサーバーには朝食時に1杯無料で飲めるホットコーヒーを用意しています。

booking.comから予約されるお客様は、チェックインの時に朝食の希望をお知らせください。※別途300円は現地決済です。

予約制夕食

夕食はご希望されるお客さまは二日前までの事前予約制です。

事前予約制のおまかせ夕食は1500円(メニューはおまかせ)
地元の食材を使った敷島旅館の女将の手作りの家庭料理をご用意しています。

食べられない食材がある場合は、予約時にお知らせください。

予約不要夕食

予約なしの簡単な夕食メニューは1000円で提供しています。
その日のメニューはおまかせ1種類のみとなります。

地元の酒蔵の地酒もご用意していますのでお食事と共にぜひご賞味ください。
