Recently, on 25 April 2025, I was awarded the 2024 - 2025 GTA Award for Excellence in Teaching, Department of Mathematics, Michigan State University (Link). Currently, I am a part of GRaduate Educators Advancement and Teaching (GREAT) Advisory Group at MSU, where we discuss and develop strategies for various activities that revolve around the preparation for the new, returning, and international Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTAs).
I am an INSPIRE Wellness Ambassador for the academic year 2024-2. In this program, we support and advocate for graduate students and postdocs in their holistic well-being who face challenges transitioning to MSU from a different background (coming from a different country, being a first-generation graduate student or postdoc, having challenges navigating well-being resources on campus, or trying to make friends)
