Shihan Mihiranga

Shihan Mihiranga a popular Sri Lankan Musician, participated in Sri Lanka's first reality TV show, Sirasa Super Star, and came in fifth place. Despite being the most popular start throughout the show, he primarily performed songs by Rookantha Gunathilake, such as Suwanda Dena Mal Waney, Nihanda Mawathey, Mama Ehewwa Horen, and As-Deka Piyana.

Following the competition, he released his debut album Dreams of Shihan in 2006, featuring songs written and composed by himself. The album quickly gained popularity among young listeners and won the Most Popular Album award that year. Two years later, he released his second album, Dreamz 2 – My Life, which featured contributions from other musicians in terms of lyrics and composition.

Shihan Mihiranga achieved success with his debut music video Ada Thaniyen Maa, which became a hit in Sri Lanka and won the popular music video award at the Derana Music Video Awards in 2007. He is known for his playback singing in movies such as Suwanda Danuna Jeewithe, where his songs Perada Mewu Sina, Ron Suwanda Dena, and Sith Mal Hegum Popiyana Yame became very popular. Additionally, he lent his voice to the song Raya Pibidee in the film Super Six.

Shihan co-hosted Sirasa Superstar season 4, also known as Generation 4, with Nirosha Perera. Additionally, he performed the competition's theme song titled Yawwane Sihina Yata Daelwune.

As a Sri Lankan Musician, he was appointed as a judge for season 5 of Sirasa Super Star in 2013.

In 2018, Mihiranga began his role as a judge on the singing competition show Hiru Star on Hiru TV, and continued in this position for the first three seasons.

In 2020, he unveiled his marriage-themed track titled ''Oba Magemai''.
