3. Permissions and Why They Are Used

The App may request some permissions only for feature-related purposes:

- Storage/Files: to save or restore app data, import/export content, and manage user-created notes/files

- Camera: for OCR/capture features

- Microphone/Speech: for pronunciation, reading assistant, and speech-related features

- Notifications: for Word of the Day and reminder notifications

- Overlay/Draw over other apps (if enabled by you): for floating/instant lookup features

- Internet: for ads and optional online features (such as cloud backup integrations if available)


4. Advertising

StartApp is no longer used in this application.

The App may use Google advertising services (such as AdMob) to show ads.

These services may use device/app identifiers and similar signals to provide and measure ads, subject to your device settings and applicable consent requirements.


5. Third-Party Services

Some App features may rely on third-party services (for example: advertising, billing/subscription, cloud services chosen by you, or external links).

Those services are governed by their own privacy policies and terms.

Most user data is stored locally on your device unless you explicitly use a cloud/backup feature.

We take reasonable steps to protect data, but no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

Word meanings, examples, and related educational content may come from multiple sources.

While we strive for quality, we do not guarantee all content is complete, accurate, or appropriate in every context.


8. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intentionally designed to collect personal data from children under the age required by applicable law without proper consent.


9. Your Choices

You can:

- Disable permissions in device settings

- Disable notifications

- Limit ad personalization in device settings

- Clear app data/features from within the App where available

If you disable certain permissions, related features may stop working.

Terms of Service

This is an agreement between “Shihab Uddin” (the developer/team, “we”, “us”) and you (“you”, “user”) for use of this App.


BY USING THIS APPLICATION, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS OF SERVICE AND THE PRIVACY POLICY.

3. Permissions and Feature Access

You may deny permissions, but related features may not function properly.


4. Ads and Online Features

The App may show third-party advertisements and may use online services.

Ad content and third-party websites are controlled by those third parties, not by us.

You are responsible for your interaction with third-party content.


5. User Data and Backups

You are responsible for your own backups and exported files.

If cloud backup/restore features are used, you are responsible for your selected cloud account and destination.


6. Educational Content Disclaimer

Definitions, examples, and related learning content may include errors or content from third-party/compiled sources.

The App is provided for educational/reference use and not as professional advice.


7. Feedback and Contact

If you contact us by email, your email address and message content are shared with us only for support/feedback purposes.


8. Pro Features, Billing, and Subscriptions

If subscription or paid features are offered, billing and payment are handled by the relevant app store/payment provider under their terms.

Refunds/cancellations are subject to those provider rules.
