Welcome to ShiftMap (the “App”), a modern Life Map companion offering free readings and optional 1-on-1 live sessions (the “Services”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy (together, the “Agreement”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country). Some features may require an account. Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for all activity under your account.
Readings. Results are for reflection/education only—not medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice.
Private Live Sessions. You may book time with independent mentors/consultants. We provide the platform; mentors are independent and outcomes are not guaranteed.
Some features are paid (one-time purchases, session bookings, or auto-renewing subscriptions). For subscriptions:
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
Renewal is charged within 24 hours before period end.
Manage/cancel in Settings ▸ [your name] ▸ Subscriptions on your device.
Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited upon purchase.
Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple (Report a Problem).
For live-session bookings: cancellations made within 24 hours before start or no-shows may be non-refundable, unless required by applicable consumer law. See in-app booking details for your time zone and local rules.
You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer, copy, or resell the App; (b) upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing material; (c) interfere with security or operations; (d) attempt to access others’ data.
The App, content, and trademarks are owned by [Company Legal Name] or its licensors. You receive a personal, limited, revocable license to use the App. User content you submit remains yours; you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use it to operate and improve the Services.
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, accuracy of results, or specific outcomes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amounts you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims arising from your use of the App or violation of this Agreement.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts of Istanbul, Türkiye have exclusive jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by consumer-protection law.
We may update these Terms or the Services. If changes are material, we’ll notify you in-app or by email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.
This Policy explains what we collect, why, how we use/share it, and your choices. It applies to the App, our website (if any), and support channels.
You provide
Account & profile: name/alias, email, password (hashed), avatar.
Bookings: time zone, availability, session preferences, communications.
Support: messages, screenshots, contact details.
Optional content: reading notes/journals, saved questions, tags.
We collect automatically
Device/App data: device model, OS version, language, app version, crash/diagnostics, general region.
Usage data: screens viewed, features used, session time.
Subscription status: product and renewal dates (via Apple).
From third parties (where enabled)
Apple for purchases/subscriptions.
Analytics & diagnostics: Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics) to understand feature usage and app stability.
Payment processors for live sessions (if applicable) to process payments and prevent fraud.
We do not collect precise geolocation unless you enable a feature that requires it. We do not collect special-category/sensitive data unless you explicitly provide it (e.g., in free-text notes).
Provide and improve the App and Services.
Personalize content (e.g., library suggestions).
Process purchases, subscriptions, and bookings; send confirmations/receipts.
Security, fraud prevention, and debugging.
Legal compliance and record-keeping.
Product updates and limited marketing (you can opt out).
Legal bases (Türkiye & EEA/UK where applicable): performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent (where required), and legal obligations.
We share only as needed to operate the Services:
Vendors/Processors: hosting, analytics (Firebase), crash reporting (Firebase Crashlytics), messaging, customer support, and payment processing (for live sessions, if used).
Mentors (Live Sessions): only the booking details you choose to provide.
Legal/Compliance: to comply with law, enforce Terms, or protect rights/safety.
We do not sell personal data or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If our practices change, we’ll update this Policy and provide required controls.
If the App requests permission to track across apps/websites, we display Apple’s ATT prompt and honor your choice. You can change permissions in Settings. We do not gate features on tracking consent.
If we transfer data outside your region (e.g., to the EU/UK or U.S.) we use lawful safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms), and assess vendor protections.
We keep personal data as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services or comply with legal obligations.
Reading history, notes, and saved questions are kept until you delete them in the app or request deletion. We may occasionally run automatic cleanup routines to remove older entries after a configurable period, but this is not guaranteed; do not rely on auto-purge.
When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it within a reasonable time.
Under KVKK (Türkiye): you may request information, access, rectification, deletion, objection/limitation of processing, and compensation for damages where applicable.
Under GDPR (if you are in the EEA/UK): rights to be informed, access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and to avoid certain automated decision-making.
Children: The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child provided data, contact us for deletion.
To exercise rights, email [Contact Email]. We’ll verify and respond within the timelines required by applicable law.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (e.g., encryption in transit, access controls, logging). No system is 100% secure.
External sites or mentor materials may be linked; their practices are governed by their own policies.
On our website (if any), we may use cookies. In the App, we may use local storage and device identifiers for functionality, analytics, and crash reports. Manage choices in-app or via device settings.
