Hi! I am Shifan Zhao. I recently received my Ph.D. in Mathematics from The Ohio State University, under the supervision of Prof. Wenzhi Luo.
Starting from September 2026, I will join Alfréd Rényi Institute of Mathematics as a postdoctoral researcher, mentored by Prof. Árpád Tóth.
I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2020 with a Master's degree. I graduated from Beihang University in 2019 with a Bachelor's degree.
My research interest lies in analytic theory of automorphic L-functions and automorphic forms. In particular, I am interested in distribution of zeros of automorphic L-functions (Landau-Siegel zeros, low-lying zeros, non-vanishing of central L-values, etc.), and growth of Fourier coefficients of automorphic forms.
Here is my CV.
