My name is Shifan Zhao. I am currently a 6th year Ph.D. student in The Ohio State University (Columbus, United States), under the supervision of Prof. Wenzhi Luo.
Starting from September 2026, I will join Alfréd Rényi Institute of Mathematics (Budapest, Hungary) as a postdoctoral researcher, in the research group led by Prof. Árpád Tóth.
I graduated from Texas A&M University (College Station, United States) in 2020 with a Master's degree. I graduated from Beihang University (Beijing, China) in 2019 with a Bachelor's degree.
My research interest lies in analytic theory of automorphic L-functions and automorphic forms. In particular, I am interested in distribution of zeros of automorphic L-functions (Landau-Siegel zeros, low-lying zeros, non-vanishing of central L-values, etc.), and growth of Fourier coefficients of automorphic forms.
Here is my CV.
