My name is Shifan Zhao. I am currently a 6th year Ph.D. student at The Ohio State University, under the supervision of Prof. Wenzhi Luo.
I got my master's degree in mathematics from Texas A&M University in 2020. I got my bachelor's degree in mathematics from Beihang University in 2019.
I am on job market Fall 2025.
My research interest lies in analytic theory of automorphic forms and automorphic L-functions. In particular, I am interested in distribution of zeros of automorphic L-functions (Landau-Siegel zeros, low-lying zeros, non-vanishing of central L-values, etc.), and growth of Fourier coefficients of automorphic forms.
Here is my CV.
