Shiblur Rahman is a multidisciplinary researcher and public health professional with academic training in Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering, Public Health, and Disaster Management. His research focuses on ethnomedicine, phytotherapy, industrial microbiology, food safety, and climate–health interactions, resulting in several peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations.
He previously worked as a Research Scientist at the Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (BCSIR), where he optimized microbial processes for industrial and food safety applications.
Currently, he serves as a Community Health Care Provider under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Bangladesh, delivering essential healthcare and preventive services. He has also contributed to national development through supervisory roles in the Agricultural, Population, and Economic Censuses. His vision is to integrate research, healthcare, and policy to strengthen public health and disaster resilience.
