Events and activities

Every year we hold a community Resurrection Egg Hunt for children. We start the hunt with the Easter story and prayer led by our pastor. We then eat a meal and prepare for the hunt by providing baskets to the kids. We divide the yard into three sections, each section is for a different age group. Lastly, the fun begins! Children race to collect as many eggs as they can. If their egg holds a slip of paper with a number on it, they will be able to go inside and choose from a variety of prizes! Children leave with a heart full of Jesus and a basket full of candy. 

Fifth Sunday Singing is held on the last Sunday of every month that includes five Sundays. On the fifth Sunday of those months, we replace evening service with worship by singing praises to God. Anyone can choose to lead worship or even sing their own special. After worship, we end the night with fellowship, where everyone brings a meal, dessert, appetizer, or drink to contribute to the communion! 

Vacation Bible School is meant to bring bible stories to life to kids ages 5-13 and is held for four days every Summer. Kids are split up into groups based on their grade level in order to fully experience the stories of the Bible through creative snacks, games, crafts, skits, and lessons led by our church leaders. Our goal is to spread the Gospel throughout the younger generations. 

The weekend of Halloween we hold a night filled with fun! This consists of games, candy, meals, prizes, and costumes!

Every Summer we take the youth to church camp in Missouri. During the time at camp, we have bible studies, swim, fish, make smores, hike, and more!
