We have monthly club meetings. They are very fun! We always start off with a fun ice-breaker activity, like word search, bingo, amongst more. Afterwards, we cover any reminders, such as National Spanish Exams, volunteer opportunities, etc. Then, we usually go into our meeting culture topics, where we discuss Hispanic holiday traditions, different cuisines, music, pop culture, and more.
What's awesome about our club is if you have an idea for an activity you're welcome to ask Sra. Rodriguez or any of our officers and it can likely be implemented to the meeting!
Our meetings always take place in a mix of Spanish and English. No fluency is required and and all levels of Spanish proficiency are welcomed!
If you seem like a strong candidate for our organization, Sra. Rodriguez will email you at the end of August and the end of January. The email will contain all the information you need to complete to be considered, including your application. So, be on the lookout for that email!
