Scoring & Seeding Guidelines

🧮 Team Scoring System

Points are awarded based on final placement in each flight:

• 1st Place → 5 points
  
  

• 2nd Place → 4 points
  
  

• 3rd Place → 3 points
  
  

• 4th Place → 2 points
  
  

• 5th Place → 1 point
  
  

The team with the highest combined point total across all singles and doubles flights will be awarded the Team Champion trophy.

📊 Seeding Guidelines

• Only players ranked by their coach will be considered for seeding.
  
  

• Seeding will be determined by:
  
  

  • Win–loss record in 1st & 2nd singles and 1st doubles
    
    

  • Conference placement
    
    

  • Head-to-head results (if submitted)
    
    

🔁 Substitution Rules

• 6th Singles and 3rd Doubles players may be substituted after a first-round loss to allow more players to participate.
  
  

• Any substitutions must be new players only.
  
  

• Coaches may not shift players between flights (e.g., from 3rd Singles to 2nd Singles) unless everyone moves up a spot.
