Our Story

We are a group of women who are dedicated to rescue to ones without a home. The animals left abandoned, starved, homeless, or abused. Our rescue was born from a shared passion for helping animals and supporting the community around us. After much volunteer work within the rescue community we have realized just how much more we could do when guided by our own values, vision, and hands-on approach. 

As time went on, it became clear that starting something of our own would allow us to do better, serving the animals we love so deeply. That decision led to the creation of She Saves Animal Rescue of Alabama. A place rooted in compassion, teamwork, and unwavering dedication. 

We are entirely volunteer-run and driven by one simple goal: to rescue animals, provide them with loving foster care, and help find them safe, forever homes. There is no reward for us beyond seeing an animal heal, thrive, and finally belong, 

Every day, we work tirelessly to care for the animals currently in our foster homes while continuing to support and uplift our community. This rescue exists because we believe every animal deserves a chance. We are so honored to be a part of that journey.
