Practices
Coached practices are Wednesdays after school at Mt Hood Meadows Resort.
Target practice times are 3pm- 8pm
Busses + Chaperones depart Sherwood H.S. Wednesdays (Athletic release will be at 12:40pm with bus departing 1:00pm)
**Students will need to confirm they will be attending practice by Tuesday before to be on early release list**
Students should bring snacks/meals for bus ride before/after practice
**TBD: storage location at school for gear before practice**
** Parent chaperones needed on busses to help enforce safety *

Coaching and Competition
Coaching:
Goal is 4 coaches to lead groups of 7-10 riders to practice competition disciplines:
Slopestyle(Jumps + rails + parks), Banked Slalom, Half Pipe and/or free-ride
Riders are encouraged to take advantage of our talented coaches to advance existing skills, to get ready for competition and/or to make new friends
Snow conditions and competition dictate plans for each practice
Competitions:
Competitions are run and insured by OISA (Oregon Interscholastic Snowboard Association)
League competitions are held on 6 weekend days (typically) at Mt. Hood Meadows from January through March. State Championships occur mid March
Transportation and accommodations for State Comp. will be determined later in season pending riders qualifying.
