About Me

Professional writing has been part of work responsibilities for the last 30+ years. My current position in marketing requires writing that includes emails, newsletters, press releases, announcements, social media content, brochure content, job descriptions and proposals. I’m very comfortable with writing and have always enjoyed it. Over the course of my career, my writing has evolved through practice and experience.

During the Fall 2021 semester of college, I completed the course Workplace Writing. During the course, I had an article published in STC Chicago's newsletter Byline. I enjoyed exploring new writing experiences added the Professional Writing Certificate to my enrollment. I have since then completed Digital Writing, English Composition I and II, and Writing in the Community. Upon completion of the Fall 2023 semester, I will earn both my AAS in Marketing Degree along with my Professional Writing Certificate.
