Community Volunteer Work that Makes a Difference

If you’re interested in volunteering, leading projects, networking and having fun – you can do all of this and more as a Sherborn Lions club member. As a Sherborn Lions Club member, you’ll also become a member of Lions Clubs International, the world’s largest service organization.

Whether you can give one hour a year or one hour a week, your contributions are appreciated. All members are welcome to join us for monthly dinner meetings which serve as an opportunity to get to know other meetings, learn about current projects and offer your ideas.

Sherborn Lions organizes a variety of activities that are great for developing friendships and finding volunteer opportunities that suit your lifestyle.

Membership

Dues are $ per year and there is a $ initiation fee for new members. (Reduced dues and Initiation fee for family members and former Leos).

What is required of a member?

Come to meetings when you can, help with as many service projects that fits your lifestyle and try to work our major fundraisers. You must always have a positive attitude, promote Lionism in the community and most of all - have FUN!

Meetings

The Sherborn Lions Club meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm. Many members come early to socialize and learn about upcoming projects. An email will go out prior to each meeting confirm the location, which is generally a local restaurant. There is no cost to attend meetings. Having dinner is optional and costs $40 per person.

The agenda for each meeting includes announcements about upcoming projects and events, a review of recently completed events. Meetings last approximately 1 – 1 ½ hours depending on the agenda.
