The "new" Jewish cemetery, established in about 1900, is depicted below (and shown on the "people" page). The gate was reportedly funded by the landsmanschaft in New York. It is used for Jewish burials only. The cemetery contains stones from the abandoned "old" cemetery which dates to the 17th century. Shepetovka also has a newer cemetery established in 1945 which is used for Jewish and non-Jewish burials. The photo below is believed to date from the late 1920s. Source: Miriam Weiner Archives (received as a gift from Rabbi Shlomo Shapiro, born c. 1918 in Shepetovka, arrived in the U.S. in 1973, and lived in Brooklyn until his death in 1996).
The text along the top appear to be quotations from scripture. The middle text on top is from Daniel 12:13, וְאַתָּה לֵךְ לַקֵּץ וְתָנוּחַ וְתַעֲמֹד לְגֹרָלְךָ לְקֵץ הַיָּמִין; "But go your way until the end. And you shall rest and shall stand in your allotted place at the end of the days to receive your inheritance." On the right it looks like Psalm 23, גם כי אלך בגיא צלמות לא אירא רע כי אתה עמדי ; "Although I walk in the valley of the shadow of death, I will not fear evil because you are with me." On the left, גם שם ידך תנחני" "ומתהמות הארץ תשוב תעלני "Even there your hand will guide me, from the depths of the earth you will again raise me " Inside the arch can be seen the word "Shepetovka."
The "People" tab provides some name identifications, but if you can add information, please contact me.
In 2015, several descendants of Shepetovka immigrants commissioned a photographic survey of the "new" Shepetovka cemetery. Project participants were Lesley Kisner Cafarelli, Miriam Weiner, Marilyn Levinson, Sid Bennett, and Miriam Kirshner. The photographic survey was conducted by Alex Dunai, and translations were provided by Isabella Berger and Elisha Blatt. Several representative photographs are shown below. The entire collection can be viewed by logging into JewishGen, going to JOWBR under the Databases tab, and searching for the town "Shepetivka."

In Brooklyn, the Mount Carmel Cemetery has a section called Independent Shepatowksy, and Chicago's Waldheim Cemetery has a section for the Sudilkov-Shepetowka Relief Society. Please contact me if you can provide any photographs of the section markers or gravestones.
