Travel Information

1. From Shenzhen:

1.1 From Baoan International Airport (35 CNY, about 1h30min):

Take the A4 airport shuttle bus from the Airport Ground Transportation Center (Gate 17) and get off at the Institute of Information Technology Station. CUHK-Shenzhen is located across the road.

1.2 From Shenzhen Railway Station:

A. Shenzhen North (6 CNY, about 1h):

Take Bus E7 to the Institute of Information Technology Station. CUHK-Shenzhen is located across the road.

B. Shenzhen East :

Metro: Take Line 14 to Dayun Station. Then take bus M219 to the Institute of Information Technology Station and walk 30 meters east to CUHK-Shenzhen. (7 CNY, about 50min)

Bus: Take M139 to the Institute of Information Technology Station. CUHK-Shenzhen is located across the road. (3 CNY, about 1h)

Attention: We need to inform you that due to construction near the school, it is actually not convenient to walk from the opposite side of the school to get here.

2. From Hong Kong International Airport:

Line 1 Bus (150 + 80 CNY, about 50 min + 50 min):

Airport - Huanggang port - CUHK-SZ

Buy tickets in advance using the WeChat Mini Program "Yong Le Zhi Tong Ba Shi" (永乐直通巴士). Please be aware that the buses are not available after 9 PM, so the only option is to take taxi, which costs around 260 HKD. After arriving at Huanggang port, you can choose to take taxi or subway (not recommended).

Line 2 Mainland Ferries (280 HKD + 120 CNY, about 30 min + 1 h):

Airport - Shekou port - CUHK-SZ

Follow the instructions to E2 Transfer Desk and find the ticket counter (No need to go through immigration formalities and claim luggages). Buy tickets in advance using the WeChat Mini Program "Zhao Shang She Kou You Lun" (招商蛇口邮轮) or directly on site (please pay attention to the ferry schedule as they are not available at all times). After arriving at Shekou port, you can take taxi to our university.

Attention:

1. Huanggang Port is the only port where customs clearance is available round the clock. If you arrive in Hong Kong between 00:00 AM and 6:00 AM, please enter Shenzhen through Huanggang Port.

2. If you decide to take the recommended bus from Hong Kong to Shenzhen, the pick-up location is Flat M01, G/F, Passenger Terminal Building 1, Hong Kong International Airport, 1 Sky Plaza Road, Chek Lap Kok, NT.. (赤臘角翔天路1號香港國際機場一號客運大樓M01櫃位)

3. If you need to take public transportation in Hong Kong, please prepare Hong Kong Octopus or cash in advance.

4. In Hong Kong, Green taxis (New Territories) are about 10% cheaper than red ones (Urban).

5. Note that you need to provide a health declaration when you go through customs in Shenzhen.
