I am an assistant professor in the Department of Cognitive Science at Occidental College (Oxy). [Here is my CV]
My research interests: language structure (phonology, morphology, phonetics, prosody), sign language linguistics, language acquisition (phonological development, bimodal bilingualism, second language learners' accents), language and cognition, and language documentation

Before that,
I was a postdoctoral research associate in the Sign Linguistics & Language Acquisition Lab (PI: Diane Lillo-Martin) at the University of Connecticut (UConn)
I obtained my Ph.D. in linguistics at UConn
Dissertation title: Bimanual coordination: The non-dominant hand in Shanghai Sign Language (link); Advisory committee: Harry van der Hulst and Diane Lillo-Martin (co-major advisors), Andrea Calabrese and Marie Coppola (associate advisors)
I received my B.A. at Tianjin Medical University and my Ph.D. at East China Normal University
