Any student between the ages of 13–18 who is currently in temporary housing, a shelter, or a transfer school in NYC. Most participants are from Queens, but we’re open to all boroughs depending on space.
Not at all. Some of our participants are still learning English, and we work hard to explain things clearly or provide help in your language when possible.
No tests, no grades, no lectures. Just a space to learn real-life skills like how to apply for a job, ask for help, and plan your next steps.
Resume building, job searching, interview prep, managing stress, finding English classes, applying to school, and more; based on what you need.
We try our best to offer snacks and we are working on getting Metrocards through partnerships and grants.
