Animal Care Expo 2026

In April 2026, members of our Shelter Vet Team traveled to Pittsburgh to attend the Animal Care Expo, hosted by Humane World for Animals. As the largest educational conference and trade show for animal welfare professionals, the Expo brings together experts from across the country to share knowledge, explore new ideas, and strengthen the future of animal care.

CARE for Pets pet health fair

On July 19th, 2025, Shelter Vet On-the-Go participated in a pet health fair in Rockford, Illinois, hosted by CARE for PETS. We're thrilled to share that 138 pets were vaccinated during the event!

Granny Rose Animal Shelter foster program training session

In July 2025, Shelter Vet On-the-Go’s Animal Placement Coordinator, Amber Pinnon, met with the team at Granny Rose Animal Shelter to discuss strategies for building a sustainable foster program. The session highlighted creative recruitment methods and practical approaches for engaging new fosters.

In May 2025, Shelter Vet On-the-Go's Animal Placement Coordinator, Amber Pinnon, met with the team at South Wood County Humane Society to discuss how to create positive pathways to adoption using the 'Adopters Welcome' principles.

In April 2025, the Shelter Vet On-the-Go Team attended the Animal Care Expo in Las Vegas, which is hosted by Humane World for Animals and is the largest educational event & trade show in the world for animal welfare professionals.
