About Me

Hello! This is my first year teaching 8th grade math at Eisenhower Middle School and I couldn't be more excited! I have experience teaching at McKinley Middle School and Carlos Rey Elementary School. I am from Gallup, New Mexico, and I have lived in Albuquerque since 2014. I am a UNM graduate with a B.S. in Elementary Education with a concentration in math and an endorsement in TESOL.

I love classic rock, anything sweet, and cats (don't worry I like dogs too). I have a crazy black cat named Charlotte. One of my favorite hobbies is playing music - I've played the clarinet and alto saxophone most of my life! Fun fact: I used to play the steel drums in a reggae band in high school!
