Some of Shelby's fondest childhood memories are the times she explored the local library with her father. Her hunger for stories that swept her away kept her nose in a book or her brain lost in a fantasy her whole life. 

After wandering down misleading life paths, she returned to her roots to the happiest times. She changed her major from Pre-Med to English, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in English from Texas A&M in 2021. Whilst in college during the pandemic in 2020, she decided to start her BookTok, Shelbyslibrary and now has over 13.5K followers and growing. 

Now, she's branched out to other platforms such as X and Instagram at @booksandshelbs, and she's currently working on her debut novel with more information to come in the near future. Stay tuned for more!
