I teach Hatha and Vinyasa with an emphasis on finding one’s own grace and gratitude through breath and movement. I also strongly believe in the therapeutic practice of yoga for both the mind and body whether as a complimentary practice to me being a lifelong tennis player or just navigating my day-to-day life in academia with humor and compassion. I have been teaching yoga since 2023 and have been practicing yoga since 2002.
I am a RYT 200 teacher registered with Yoga Alliance after receiving my training at M3Yoga in Athens, Georgia in 2022. I am currently working on my 300 hour certification with My Vinyasa Practice in Austin, Texas and my Yin Yoga certification with Bernie Clark & Diana Batts from Yin Yoga in Vancouver, British Columbia.
In the early years of my practice, I was heavily inspired by Erich Schiffmann, Kali Ray, and B.K.S. Iyengar. I teach a slow-tempo, alignment-based class often with a musical soundtrack.
