Meet Claudia the Owner:
I’ve been a handywoman all my life and genuinely enjoy the work. For the past 15 years, I’ve taken care of rental properties and discovered how much satisfaction I get from fixing, improving, and bringing things back to life. As I prepare to retire from my career as a public school teacher, this feels like the perfect opportunity to focus on what I truly enjoy and know how to do well. I hold a Master’s Degree–level education, and I bring the same professionalism, patience, and dedication to my handywoman services. My services are available to everyone equally, with care, respect, and craftsmanship at the center of everything I do.
History:
Have you ever known a child who took toys apart instead of playing with them? That child was me. From a very young age, I loved opening things up just to see how they worked. My motto has always been: *if someone put it together, I can take it apart and put it back again.* I genuinely enjoy fixing things.
Throughout my career as a teacher—from Kindergarten all the way to AP classes and even adult learners—working with my hands has always been my stress reliever and favorite hobby. It has been the creative, calming balance to my academic work.
For the past 15 years, I have also managed rental properties, putting those skills to practical use and realizing just how much I love home care and repairs. That passion grew to the point where I decided to make it my second career as I prepare to retire from my 28-year teaching career.
That lifelong curiosity and joy for repairing is exactly what I bring to **She Fixes LLC** today.
