Seyi is a research assistant in the Sheffield Lab supporting the VIP study. Prior to joining the Sheffield Lab she earned her BA in Interdisciplinary Studies (Neuroaesthetics) at Georgetown University and her MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience from King's College London. As a postgraduate she has worked in the Stress, Psychiatry and Immunology Lab examining biological pathways in psychopathology, the AZA Lab where she explored alternative therapeutic treatments for internalizing disorders, and as a behavior technician administering ABA therapy to children with autism. Her current research interests are broadly centered on the brain-mind-body axis and transdiagnostic therapeutic approaches to treating psychophysiological dysregulation in various disorders. In the future she plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology.
