Part 1

Training Description: Spreadsheets are incredibly useful and easy to use (no, really!!), but most of us are intimidated by them. There are many classroom applications for spreadsheets: designing lessons for students, storing records, and analyzing performance to name just a few. This training will go over basic and some intermediate spreadsheet skills that will get you up to speed quickly using Google Sheets. We will cover the fundamentals, give you a chance to try out some of the most important skills together, and practice using real classroom examples. You don’t need to be scared, this won’t hurt at all! This is Part 1 of a two part series. Stick around for Part 2 if you want to become a Sheets pro. While this training will focus on Sheets, all tools and knowledge will be useful to users of Excel and other spreadsheets. Teachers who complete this training should be prepared for the Sheets portion of the Google for Education Level 1 Certification.
