Your Trainer

Eileen Fernandez-Parker is a 34-year public school educator and Google For Education Certified Trainer.  This means that while she is excellent with technology, she knows how to teach first and foremost. 

Eileen has experience teaching in her own classroom from as low as grades 4 and 5 through grade 12 and graduate school.  Eileen's specialities were English and Computer Applications where she focused on authentic real-world activities for students to complete. With the help of online sites and her insatiable curiosity, Eileen taught herself everything she knows about technology spanning HTML to create websites to spreadsheets to analyze student learning data.

When Eileen knew she could dig deeper into data but a spreadsheet wasn't robust enough, Eileen went back to school to learn how to build databases. She has experience with Access as well as SQL.

Most days you will find Eileen either reading to learn or trying to build something digitally.
