2025 Season, Volume 9 January 22, 2025
WI SCTP STATE COACHES MEETING FOLLOW UP NOTES
Your state advisors would love to thank the 144 coaches who attended our 2025 WI SCTP/SASP coaches meeting last weekend. With our guests and speakers we had 160 people in attendance, by far our largest meeting ever! THANK YOU TO ALL OUR GUESTS AND SPEAKERS!
We had 20 people become certified in "Stop the Bleed." This training is all part of the safety that the SCTP and SASP put at the top of our priorities within the program.
***There is more training available as part of our coaches meeting since there is not enough time in one day to get it all in... Rusty Schieber is hosting a half-day mental training session for our coaches on February 1st at the Berlin Conservation Club. There is still space available and WI SCTP coaches will be allowed to bring two of their athletes to this clinic for no charge!

We appreciate the coaches that filled out the surveys, your input will guide us into what we work on throughout the year for coach training and the agenda/speakers for next years meeting! THANK YOU!

DO YOU HAVE ATHLETES INTERESTED IN SHOOTING IN COLLEGE?
There is a Facebook Group called Collegiate Clay Target Sports
A place for people to discuss and learn more about competitive shotgun (clay target) shooting at the college level.
The purpose of this group is to:
1) Give current collegiate teams and athletes a place to discuss their sport and programs.
2) Provide a space for those interested in collegiate shotgun shooting to learn more about it.
We have teams posting about their programs, high school students asking for information, discussions about past and upcoming events, and much more.
For additional information, please check the group's FAQ document or post a question.
