We’re in the last few weeks of training nights before the fair show. Everyone needs to have at least 10 training attendances in order to show. If you have questions about your attendance, please see your trainer. Remember to bring water to training for your dogs.
The county fair dog show will be Sunday, August 23rd. Starting times and the show order will be shared soon during training. All disciplines will take place at the show. There will be a food stand and raffle at the show as well. Please remember to turn in your $20 raffle contribution to a board member so raffle baskets can be put together.
The potluck and awards night will be the following Thursday, August 27th. Families are invited, but please leave dogs at home. Bring a dish to share!
The dog project board is looking for adult and youth board members! Board members serve for a 2-year term. Voting will take place at the fair show in August. If you’re interested or have any questions, please see a board member.
Sponsorship letters for the fair dog show were sent out to local businesses. If you know of any business or individual that would like to be a sponsor and needs a copy of the letter, please talk to a board member.
During the training season, monthly board meetings will take place at 7 PM at the fairgrounds during showmanship on the 3rd Thursday of the month.
