Shay’s Loving Hands Learning Center welcomes you! In a world full of home daycare's, Shay’s Loving Hands Learning Center strives to be the best in the Fauquier County area, and as you can see, we've met that goal in 2024 & 2025. My program's purpose is patterned to the developmental needs of each child that is in our care. 

My name is Mrs. Shay, I am the owner and operator of Shay’s Loving Hands Learning Center.  I have always wanted to be a home provider for years and spent numerous years caring for children before starting my own center. Throughout my life, no matter what line of work I was in at the time, I always did the best job I possibly could.  I do not look at caring for children any differently.  I view being a child care provider as a blessing and I have a true understanding and passion for implementing quality care. I am loving, positive, nurturing, playful, responsible, reliable, trustworthy, sensitive, patient, organized, authoritative and tenacious.  These traits give me the confidence that my purpose is to be a caregiver and teacher to children.  I recognize what an honor it is to be entrusted with the safety and well being of your most priceless treasures.

Unofficially, I am a toy finder, back patter, song singer, diaper changer, story writer, skinned knee fixer, cold coffee drinker, referee, problem solver, hand holder, paint cup filler, block builder, book reader, puddle splasher, dancer, potty trainer, friend, waiter, cook, bookkeeper, janitor, tear wiper, hug giver, difference maker and  a small business operator.
