I joined the Department of Mathematical and Computational Sciences at UTM in 2010, and, since then, I have been teaching and coordinating various undergraduate courses in mathematics. I am also involved in pedagogical projects and curriculum/course design, and often hold administrative positions at UTM.
I am also a member of the Mathematical Association of America (MAA), and active in the mathematics education community. I completed my doctoral studies in pure mathematics at the University of Toronto in 2008.
My interests lie in mathematics education, and, more specifically, in student-centered methods and active-learning pedagogies. My favorite areas of mathematics are differential geometry and topology, and I enjoy teaching courses and conducting independent study projects on these subjects.
