Astrology Consultation
Astrology is a vast and diverse field that uses a variety of techniques to foster self-understanding and expand agency, capacity for compassion, and acceptance. I work with techniques drawn primarily from Hellenistic Astrology and integrating contemporary perspectives from depth psychology. In addition to standard horoscope readings, I work with advanced timing techniques including profections, secondary progressions, transits, and the solar return. I have also enjoyed extending this perspective to consider location and relocation charts, as well as charts that reveal the character and timing of businesses and organizations.
I prefer to design a custom reading plan tailored to your needs and interests. If we haven’t worked together and you aren’t familiar with the Hellenistic interpretation of your natal chart, an initial birth chart reading of about an hour is most appropriate. If you are a returning client or if you are familiar with your chart characteristics and are seeking a year-ahead or relocation reading, we should be able to address most of your questions in about an hour or an hour and a half, if we haven’t worked together before. If you have a focused question, I also offer 30-minute consultations.

Writing Consultation
I've worked professionally as a writing teacher and tutor for more than twenty years. During that time, my primary focus has been on helping students enter the world of academic discourse as a college composition professor and tutor. However, I've also served as an editor for scholarly monographs, a consultant on presentations, portfolios, and large and small professional writing projects, and I've maintained my own writing practice. I've completed and defended a dissertation on literacy and writing, published professional and personal essays, and explored the overlap between rhetoric and astrology - two professions that emerged in the same classical Mediterranean milieu.
Now, I'm interested in working one-on-one or in small groups with individuals who want to explore writing - either by taking their professional work to the next level, whatever that may be, or taking that first step toward starting a writing practice.
Similar to the Central Ohio Astrology Group, I've started a low-stakes publishing group for those interested in forming a community around writing.
