Shastrinagar is mostly a residential area and water is basic necessities for homes. Municipal clean drinking water is easily accessible in our area. People in Shastrinagar have underground water storage or have water storage on the rooftop. The people store municipal water because municipal water only comes for a certain time and people store accordingly their house needs.

As our Area is mostly residential, electricity plays a major part in our daily life. In Shastrinagar electricity is provided by torrent power which 24x7 hours supply of light. All the houses have functional meters to measure the number if watts are used.

Municipal water bills come every month and people can either pay by online methods or can go to a nearby municipal office for paying the bill. The same goes for electricity torrent power provides bills every month that needs to also paid by people in a certain time and can also be paid through online and offline methods

Our Neighbourhood gets highly crowded with vehicles in peak hours due to the majority of residential areas. All the roads in our tile are very well built and regular maintenance is given to these roads.

Our neighborhood had a BRTS station which was not in our tile but good transportation facilities are available and accessible easily. Narangpura has one police station but there is no police fotr station for women.  

Some Streets and societies have kuccha roads, but that side is not that much busy. The accident rates in our neighborhood are very less compared to other areas. The locals also are cooperative in road safety and honking in our tile is low.

Our tile didn't have any government hospitals but had private hospitals and a small clinic the tile needs a well-developed government hospital.

The tile doesn't have a public hospital and clinics were there but not at walking distance and mostly we saw private health centers. The tile also needs more facilities for COVID-19 vaccines because there is only one in our area.

There is no educational institution in our tile and there are also no community centers and public schools for children. Even there are no kinder garden schools for kids.

In our tile, we spotted one temple for people. The temple was not that big and was on the main road so people can easily see from outside.

There are no community halls, libraries, or public monuments. But our neighborhood has much greenery on both sides of the road and the trees are taken care of by the municipality.

Our Neighborhood consists of many local shops for fulfilling the daily necessities of the people living nearby. There is also one ground situated in our tile for children to play but it doesn't have any Municipality governance.

Shastrinagar is a reasonably clean area in Ahmedabad. The societies are neatly cleaned. The Municipality manages the cleanliness of the area

The streets are mostly cleaned but the streets have small vendors and small shops which can make the streets look untidy. The streets are cleaned regularly by the Municipal Cooperation.

As our area is mostly residential, people don't tend to throw garbage on the streets and because of residency, people take out their waste on a daily basis. The Municipality send people to collect garbage from this homes on a daily basis
