Sharyn Davy is an emerging Australian artist with a 20-year background in graphic design. 

After many years working in Melbourne, she returned to her hometown for the birth of her son and began exploring her creativity through a different medium — painting — allowing her to connect with the local arts community.

Working primarily in acrylic on canvas, Sharyn focuses on Australian native animals, capturing moments of movement, interaction, and stillness in the natural world. The blurred and simplified landscapes in her compositions serve as atmospheric backdrops, placing focus on the creatures she portrays. Her design background brings a strong sense of composition & understanding of colour, while her brushwork blends realism with expressive gesture.

Through this evolving practice, Sharyn is striving to develop a visual language rooted in place, connection, and quiet observation.
