January: Omar Vazquez - a second year Biostatistics PhD student advised by Sharon Xie , won the Student Paper Award from the ASA Lifetime Data Science Section. Omar will present the winning paper - entitled "Robust Inverse Probability Weighted Estimators for Doubly Truncated Cox Regression with Closed-form Standard Errors" - at this year's JSM in Portland, OR. Congratulations, Omar!
