About me
I am a Centre Research Fellow working with Ankur Sinha at the Brij Disa Centre for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, IIM Ahmedabad. During 2024-2025, I was a postdoctoral researcher at Southern Methodist University, USA, where I worked with Harsha Gangammanavar. In February 2024, I received my Ph.D. in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research (IEOR) at IIT Bombay, advised by Vishnu Narayanan and P. Balamurugan. I finished my M.Sc in IEOR, IIT Bombay.
Research Overview
My research interest lies in mathematical optimization under uncertainty. I am fascinated by how the fundamentals of optimization, probability and statistics can address the large-scale stochastic optimization problems seen in various domains such as suppy chain, network optimization and transportation systems. I am particularly interested in devising efficient solution methods with verifiable guarantees of the solution quality for problems which are beyond the reach of existing algorithms. I use core concepts of optimization, probability and statistics to advance theory and practice in decision-making under uncertainty.
