Preetam Sharma
I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I work with Prof. Matthew M. Mench at the Electrochemical Energy Storage and Conversion Lab. I am a Tennessee Fellow, recipient of the prestigious Tennessee Fellowship for Graduate Excellence.

Short Bio:
I received B.E Degree (Bachelor of Engineering) in Aeronautical Engineering from Anna University-Chennai, India in 2015. I secured a University Third Rank in B.E on the basis of performance in all the examinations held during 2011-2015. After that, I joined Indian Institute of Technology - Kanpur (IIT-Kanpur) for a M.Tech (Master of Technology) degree in Aerospace Engineering in 2015. I graduated in June 2017 and worked for over a year as a Project Engineer with Prof. Vaibhav Arghode's research group at Advanced Combustion and Acoustics Laboratoty, IIT Kanpur before moving to Tennessee.
I hail from Haryana (a Northern Indian state). I like long distance running and playing cricket. I occasionally watch a few movies. This website documents my interests, passion and the work that I have done so far.Â
