Schemes of Learning

Below is a 5 year Scheme of Learning - separated into 2 parts.

The Scheme of Learning is devised for a comprehensive school with the full ability range for students aiming for grades 1 to 9 at GCSE.

Part 1:

This covers years 7&8 and in most cases all students cover the same work.

Part 2:

This separates students into 3 groups.

Foundation

Crossover(those that need the door to higher kept open)

Higher (those students who will definitely complete the higher tier at GCSE).

The Scheme of Learning links back to Years 7&8 and the aim is to complete all foundation content before moving to higher. All classes follow the same Scheme of Learning however the speed that the content is covered and if there is time to review.
