Share Location: GPS Tracker is committed to protecting your privacy. We focus on minimal data collection, full transparency, and giving you full control over your experience.
You can use Share Location: GPS Tracker without creating an account. You may optionally enter a name so that people you share your location with can recognize you. This name:
Is optional
Is only visible to people you share your location with
Is not linked to your real identity
We do not collect:
Email addresses
Phone numbers
Identity information
Share Location: GPS Tracker requests the following permissions only with your consent and for functionality:
Location access: To share live location and display location history
Notifications: For alerts and emergency (SOS) notifications
iOS Tracking Transparency: For anonymous usage analytics (on iOS only)
Location and notification access are triggered only when you manually enable these features.
The app never accesses your media or location in the background without your action.
Emergency (SOS) notifications are only sent to users you have explicitly added.
No personal data is shared with third parties or emergency services automatically.
To improve app performance, Share Location: GPS Tracker uses Firebase (by Google) to collect anonymous usage data, such as:
Screen views
Button taps
This data:
Is linked to a randomly generated user ID (e.g., “user_123abc”)
Does not contain any personal information
Is used solely for internal improvement
Is retained by Firebase for up to 14 months in accordance with Google’s data policy
Location data is processed only when you manually start sharing and only for the selected time period (e.g., 1 hour, 1 day, or unlimited — unlimited is available to Premium users only).
There is no automatic or continuous background sharing.
Tracking stops immediately when sharing is turned off or when the app is closed.
Location history is stored for up to 30 days and is only available to Premium users.

Since your user ID is anonymous, we cannot directly identify you; however, we may be able to locate and delete your data using internal logs and timestamps.
Share Location: GPS Tracker uses the following third-party services:
Firebase (Google): For anonymous usage analytics
Apple (App Store): For subscription and payment management
Your personal data is never shared with third parties.
The app does not use ad SDKs or tracking tools.
All payments and subscriptions are managed through Apple’s App Store.
We do not process, store, or access your payment or billing details.
All transactions and billing information are handled by Apple in accordance with their privacy policies.
You can cancel or manage your subscription through your Apple device settings.
Users have full control over who can see their location.
You can end a connection at any time by selecting “Remove”, which immediately stops sharing and removes mutual visibility.
If a connection request is not accepted, no data is shared.
The app allows users to share their live location with others.
We encourage responsible use — only share your location with people you trust.
