Another problem might be in the security authorization of other devices. Your device on which you are building has the developer options turned on. We'd like to do a network installation of KeePass, that means putting the program files on a network share (or mapped drive).

The program is then to be published to the user's by Citrix XenApp and the users should be able to make their individual settings like language, security settings keyboard shortcuts, etc.

When I run the installer and try to install to a mapped network drive the drive isn't shown as a target device.

Currently we copied the portable version to the network share and publish the .exe with Citrix. This is basically working, but I can't get the individual settings to work. The user's language setting is stored, but every other setting (e.g. security, hotkeys) are not saved for the next program start (even in the same user session).

Recently updated to Ventura and my screen share audio ceased to work. At first, After consulting both Discord support and reddit, I had uninstalled and reinstalled discord and rebooted my computer, but the "install" button for the audio support was greyed out. I then deleted the ACE folder, which un-greyed the install button, but still wont let me press it/doesn't pop up the authorization window. I've since redownloaded Discord multiple times to no avail. Any help would be appreciated!

Then I mounted this share on the webserver under /mnt/www. There is a folder on the base of that share that will contain any websites called html. I changed the apache config file 000-default.conf to:

ServerAdmin webmaster@localhost

With that change I was able to see the my default website now on the NFS share. After that I downloaded the web installer and executed it. All dependencies were found and I started the process of installing NC21. The package (nc.zip) was downloaded and properly unzipped. I clicked next to move to the config screen. That is the first time I ran into the issue that NC told me there was an error and I should check the logs. At that point there are no logs, it is a fresh install. Nothing is defined in the config.php. So I went into the NC folder and executed

sudo -u www-data php8.0 occ check

That was the first time I got an error that the file config.php could not be locked and that is where I am stuck now. I was able to install NC on a smb share but that is too slow. I want that speed that NFS is offering. Is anyone out there that can help?

I am sure it is a config thing but I could not find if it was a config thing on the NFS server or the apache2 server.

@vikinggeek you are correct. The mounting happens with NFS v3 NOT 4 which is why your comment explains perfectly why it is not working. I am using Debian 10 so now I at least have an indication where I can start looking and trying to figure out if I can install NC completely on a NFS share.

@realshadow My starting point was the Hansson nextcloud vm. In its original state it uses 2 drives, one for the os/nextcloud service files and another for the actual user data. I kept the first as is but replaced the second with an nfs share.

the problem is that I have defined a launch file inside the launch directory in my package. But running:colcon build --packages-select example (where example is just the name of the package)is doesn't move/create/copy the launch file from the launch directory into the install directory. Soinstall/example/share/example/contains no launch file, which should be there even according to the tutorial about launch files here. In fact, the line:

from the tutorial above, suggests that the launch.py file should be found inside the share directory of the package. And this is not the case for me.I deleted the build and install directory many times. I run colcon build only, but it doesn't create any launch file inside the share directory. So I can only use absolute path inside my launch file or move manually the launch file inside the share directory. There is a reason for that? Or is the tutorial assuming that you move manually your launch file inside the share directory?
