Research Visitor

I was a research visitor at the Optical Communications Research Group (OCRG), Northumbria University, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. Here, I worked with Prof. Zabih (Fary) Ghassemlooy (Head of OCRG) and designed an experimental testbed for an infrastructure-to-vehicle (I2V) system employing visible light communication (VLC).

For the first time, we experimentally demonstrated the communication between the traffic light (as the transmitter) and the optical camera (as the receiver mounted on the dashboard of the vehicle).
