About Me

Hello, my name is Samantha Segura, I am currently studying to become an elementary education teacher at Sul Ross State University. I hold an associate degree in general studies and hoping to aim towards a master's degree. Ever since I was an adolescent, I never knew what I wanted to be, it wasn't until high school that becoming a teacher slipped into my mind. One thing I inspire to do is educate and motivate students to reach for the stars even if they just land in the clouds. 

I never really had role models to look up to growing up, so I plan to be that role model for many of my students. Teaching isn't only about educating but the life lessons that your students will take from your class and go out into the world. they will be the change of the world but it all begins with a teacher.
