Meet your Instructor: Andrew Shao

Andrew Shao is a Grade 11 Student at St. Aloysius Gonzaga Secondary School. He has always been interested in STEM, and loves to code, build robots, and play the acoustic guitar. Andrew is currently proficient in a variety of programming languages and frameworks, including Python3, C, and Java. He strives to create a world, where anyone, from any background, can learn to code, a skill that is becoming more and more expected in the job field.

A Dream.

When Andrew started to learn how to code, he found it incredibly difficult to find any outside support. All STEM camps and private tutoring were simply way too expensive, and online MOOCs were too much theory, with little application. Fast-Forward a few years, and this problem of unaffordable Robotics and Computer Science tutoring still persists, and Andrew strives to change this. This is where ShaoBotics was born, an affordable and high-quality robotics and computer science tutoring service that provides students, at a young age, to build fascinating and useful robots, using the power of Arduino.
