I've been proud to call New Hampshire home for more than 20 years, and for the past 8 years my family and I have lived in Goffstown in our 1890's farmhouse. My husband Israel, and I have been married for 20 years, and together we're raising two teenagers here. Like many parents, our lives are full of school schedules, curricular activities, and the everyday joys and challenges of family life.
Israel serves on the Goffstown budget committee, where he's working hard to make a difference for our community and ensure that taxpayer dollars are used responsibly. Our shared committment to service and community involvement is at the heart of our family life.
At home, we've worked hard to turn our farmhouse into both a home and a homestead. We keep chickens, tend our orchard, and are always expanding our gardens. When I'm not working on the house or cheering on our kids, I enjoy time with family, neighbors and friends.
Family is the foundation of who I am. Being a parent has shaped the way I see the world and strenghtened my desire to protect opportunities for the next generation. My own experiences with mental health, and raising a neurodivergent child, have given me understanding and empathy for the struggles many families face.
New Hampshire is where my family has built our life, and we cherish the character, beauty, and freedom that make it special. It's not just where we live - It's where we're rooted, and where I want to continue raising my children and contributing to the community we call home.
